Hello,
I am looking for advice as I have a 2015 Homestead Quarter Dollar which has the back of the coin upside down compared to the face.
Is this an error or is the coin meant to be this way.
I am new to all of this so any information would be great.
Thanks
Scott

When you find a quarter that isn't upside down relative to the "front" (ie - obverse) then you'll have something very special otherwise you have normal, everyday quarter.
@Smcd86.... Welcome aboard.... All coins are minted that way.... sometimes, the reverse is slightly rotated (usually described in degrees - i.e. 40 degree rotation).... If you find one fully rotated so it is in the same direction as the obverse, then that is a significant mint error and will add value. Medals are minted in that manner. Have fun...Cheers, RickO
OK thanks for the fast replies. I thought I had found something special but I'm sure I'll find something one day.
Thanks again
Just look at your pocket change.:)
If you take the quarter, obverse facing you,
and you flip it OVER, not turn it to the right or left,
the top of the reverse should point to 12:00.
If it doesn't, then you have a rotated reverse.
looks normal
