A stark and dramatic visual in the density difference between Au and Ag!

A couple bars that I no longer own. Glad I took these photos when I did have them though. It illustrates just how much more dense gold is than silver. And think about this...if we placed a block of iron weighing 50g next to the silver ingot, the iron bar would be about 30% larger!

    Very cool shot!!

    Someone should put the platinum on the dense end for a trio shot of the three

    I'd do so, but the only plat squares I've got are halfs, so wouldn't have same effect!

    I like seeing the difference like that. Great example.
    You can certainly feel gold and platinum when they hit your hand.

    Many have felt falling knives also.

    Nice bags though. Ever wonder how exactly the metal was brought forth from the ground?
