I'm not familiar with that type of Engelhard bar. He does have a nice camera though.
I think its funny that his stuff is priced $10 more than 1oz silver bars/rounds.
Too expensive.... and I have no idea if they are knockoffs.... Cheers, RickO
Looks like a knockoff to me.
It looks a little off, but not necessarily a fake. They did make bars like that, but his looks a little too "perfect"

I might complain if I did not get the camera shown in the reverse image, Just kidding
Successful transactions with : MICHAELDIXON, Manorcourtman, Bochiman, bolivarshagnasty, AUandAG, onlyroosies, chumley, Weiss, jdimmick, BAJJERFAN, gene1978, TJM965, Smittys, GRANDAM, JTHawaii, mainejoe, softparade, derryb
Bad transactions with : nobody to date
Based on his previous sales AND feedback, along with his fairly decent regular and recent selling volume.....im gonna vote they are legit. Carew, I know you have seen hundreds of different types of silver bars, and you and I even made a deal on what was probably one of the largest private collections of fractional silver in the country a few years back....but no matter how much you or I have seen, we haven't seen it all!
I have many vintage Engelhard bars and that one looks fake.

I would not buy it at $20.
Looks fine to me but over priced in my opinion.
it's crackers to slip a rozzer the dropsy in snide
Check the web site allengelhard.com. This site is based on very thorough research and shows a very comprehensive listing of all known Engelhard bars. If a bar type isn't shown on this web site, you should beware that your bar may not be real.

Look at the top of the T in Troy. It is shifted left.
The font on Englehard seems off and the slant on the lettering seems off.
The curvature on the corners is as large as the fakes we see.
Vintage? Seems very new looking.
my guess it is real silver but not made by Engelhard
my guess is that it is real silver plate and sourced from Ali-Express or some other Chinese portal

Even if it were real it's overpriced.

What MsMorrisine says... I'm no bar expert but that just doesn't look right.
I did note the sellers history which is why I didn't just dismiss as fake, but rather seek some opinions.
The ol spidey sense tingles on this one but feedback, other for sale items support it being legit.
staying with gut and avoiding.
Loves me some shiny!
JMHO-fake
lol, some interesting theories and observations...
awesome bar, hard to find and real as can be...
Sold 10 this week...so maybe less hard to find
Loves me some shiny!
He prolly has a little hoard,I kept all mine...
wow
rawteam1 can you shoot it next to another "more traditional" englehard 1oz silver and post it up?
Run Forrest, Run.
I knew it would happen.
I would not buy it. Has the look and feel of those plated copper currency reproductions.
