Unusual gold bullion stolen in transit

Express Mail Loss
On Tuesday April 8th, 8 boxes were shipped express mail from Costa Mesa Post Office and received by APMEX in Oklahoma City on April 7th. The boxes contained gold bullion. One box arrived completely empty (the box was clearly tampered) and another had contents missing.
The following coins are missing:
90 1 ounce gold Maple Leafs - Various Dates
30 1 ounce gold rounds .9999 - inscribed "Global Future City"

Those "Global Future City" one ounce rounds should certainly stand out.

Not good. Would registered mail not be the better option for that type of shipment?

Chris Napolitano sent 8 Express Mail boxes to APMEX which were received last Thursday, April 6. One of the boxes had been cut and the contents were gone. It appears another box was opened and resealed with partial contents missing.
The items were as follows:
90 1 ounce Gold Maple Leafs .9999 (Various Dates)
30 1 ounce Secondary Market Rounds (all coins marked “Global Future City”)

Maybe an inside job?
Hoard the keys
With enough pressure the perp should cave easily.
We had a package arrive empty to another dealer. 100 oz gold bars just dont open boxes by themselves. Bar turned up later that day. They claimed "fell out of box". Sure double boxed security taped....
