I'm probably anal retentive, but wondered why you didn't have them in date MM order? Anyway, nice set and I enjoy mine also.

They are in slab generation order here, but in registry they are date mm order.
This set was quite a challenge. Hard to find slabs in excellent condition, and contain a well struck walker that matches the rest of the set.

    Regency? I hope not!
The white labels were hard enough

Wow, what a nice looking set! Love the older generation slabs. You were wise to do them, in mostly gem, as they are very affordable now and much better quality. Congrats!!

That is a very impressive accomplishment. Kudos.

If I ever come across a gen 1.1 rattler with a WLH in MS65, I will probably feel obligated to sell it to you!

Cool set. I think you should have marked up the new coins just a bit to try and get 65 as well!

Regency slabbed walkers? I do not recall any.

I am not familiar with the first rattler with the tan paper tag versus the 2nd rattler with the white paper. Is that a new discovery?

Also there are two different versions of the slab as represented by the 1942-D walker in MS-65. The difference between the two is that the bar coding on the reverse side looks different and is located higher vs lower.

That is an impressive set of Walkers.... I am not a slab generation collector.. I know a few of them just because I have them... However, I do recognize a quality set of WLH's when I see them.... very nice indeed. Cheers, RickO

No new discovery on the 1.0 with the tanish looking label, it's a bit discolored, from sun exposure I am guessing. It's not as dark in hand as the picture indicates. Matches the coin, both a little dark. It's also the only toned walker in the set. Very attractive even copper toning that I cant do justice with my phone's camera.

I am extremely happy to have located it, (discolored a little or not) with the help of some forum members. With cert verification it appears there are only 42 or so possible white label 1.0 walkers. How many still in their holder?
As to the 42d slab, I was not aware of any differences in those. Can you
Post a pic or pm me?

Thanks to all for the kind words,
It was a challenge I really enjoyed doing.

Nice! I wish all your halfs were the same date. That would be your next challenge.
