Are about as difficult to find as nicely toned Peace Dollars.
Here's an SLQ:

But they are out there

Killer coin @Eagleguy!
I think they are harder to find. Quarters were used in every day commerce. Peace $ did not widely circulate which means they were properly collected and improperly stored more often than quarters.
Where's David Sach's SLQ when we need it?
Beauty @Bullsitter
Love that peripheral tone @Eagleguy
I like it. But maybe a bit to dark. Have to see it in hand. Lovely coin!
Bought this many years ago and paid quite a premium for it. Its nicer than the images.

Same coin different image technique:
@bcdeluxe..... That 1919 is hammered.... what a great strike.... Cheers, RickO
Some decent examples, but not a fan of very dark toning.
PCGS MS-66+ CAC
Commems and Early Type
Here is a 1929-D that I am getting ready to send to CAC. The obverse has an incredible overall gold tone with light lavender accents. When you tilt it away from the light, an iridescent greenish blue flashes in the areas of the coin not in direct light. It's a stunner in hand.
Phil & Co. did my Type I right! CAC liked it too!

Here's one that I was lucky enough to snag from TomB. It lives in a PCGS MS66 CAC holder:

Fantastic eye appeal, Bob!
Eeks....that looks to be terminal toning -- probably eating into the surfaces?

Wow that one is nice. what is the grade?
Thank you!
Got it 12 years ago, and have enjoyed owning it ever since. It's a PCGS MS66. Given gradeflation it would not surprise me if it upgraded. The real kicker is that the differential between a non-FH and a FH is over 10 X at this grade level. While I have no major problem with it being slabbed as non-FH (I bought it already slabbed), just take a look at the head and the rivets. Before I eventually sell it, I'll try reslabbing it.
