    Coin checks out with NGC...

Maybe I need to start bidding on coins with cleaner cheeks.

Hope everything goes right for you. I would never had the nerve to bid with them.

2.Only feedback was as a buyer
3.Now there are 4 items for sale 3 being 4 digits
But hey could just be a legit person needing to pay some tax's

Pay using PayPal. You have buyer protection. Why worry

Low feedback seller should limit your competition.
Posting here before the auction ends may not help your cause.

If you have Pay Pal that's linked to your credit card you have double protection.

Worry is the interest you pay on a debt you may not owe.

That is a $2500 coin without the scratch. You can flip that coin and make money.

I would have waited for the auction to end before telling anyone about it though.

Good luck, I hope it works out for you.

It was a decent deal for $1100, not exceptional as a flip coin though. 1893-S' don't stay secret long. Congrats to the new high bidder!

Interesting situation.... However, the coin is legitimate... so if the seller follows through, all will be well. Keep us posted and show a picture when received. Cheers, RickO

Hopefully the transaction goes OK.. None of the feedback they have received as a buyer comes from anything coin related... Appears most of the sellers the person bought from sell decorative items.

I find it odd they would step right into the eBay selling game with coins of this size and if PayPal account just started selling then PayPal will hold those funds.... Fingers crossed for you!!!

    Successful trades.... MichaelDixon,

I agree Pennybags. My guess is a hijacked account.

I would buy it at the price it brought but not from that seller. Way too much risk for me!
