Question on unopened mint packages

I have purchased mint products over the last few years and i have not opened some of the shipping boxes. Is there a website that has all the codes that will tell me what's inside the unopened shipping box?

hmmm
some mint shipping labels have the mint order number on them. if you are registered you can check your order history and match tracking numbers. tracking numbers can indicate when an item was shipped, might help tell what the item is.

all? not that I've found.
Also, there often isn't a lot on the outside of the box to give clues as to what is on the inside.
The ship date might be a start. If it happens to have an order number on the outside, someone here might be able to cross reference with that and a date.
If you're talking about the PL7 or PL9 or whatever 3 digit code is large on the outside of the box, try searching on ebay for that code under US Coins. You won't hit on everything, but you'll probably be able to figure out a number of them.
Outside of that, google the code and US Mint?
i have left some of the boxes unopened thinking they will sell for a premium some day. Has anyone here done the same thing?

I've sold some proof/mint sets in original packaging, unopened, for a higher premium in the past. All were 64 or prior. Both mint sets and proof sets, but proofs commanded more.
i have many unopened been called a hoarder lol, just haven't bothered sending to pcgs. if you find an order number and zip code you can pull it up on mint website, not sure how far back (history) it will look.

I have many sealed white boxes from the mint, usually rolls of quarters, halves or dollars. As previously mentioned, you can simply do a search on ebay using the product code and mint as key words and you are bound to obtain the info, or a google search.

I can never do such a thing. Must open them all! There is a mystery prize within each cracker jack box!
The prizes in cracker jack boxes these days are pretty pitiful, lol..

Which shipping box? The sealed UPS/FedEx shipping box from the mint?
Then, nope. The Mint gives no clue what's inside a box, beyond your name and a tracking number.
The best you can hope for it to get on UPS/FedEx (however it came), and see if they still have the tracking number in their system. If they do, you can get a date it was shipped, then go back into your Order History on the mint site to see what it is.
If UPS/FedEx no longer has the tracking number in the system, the only thing you might be able to do is look at all your orders to find the tracking number.
If you're talking about the boxed bags of quarters or mint sets, those are easily found on google.
Yep. I found a couple of unopened boxes, like a couple of March of Dimes special sets, and a couple of 2012 SF ASE sets.
Don't know exactly what to do with them, lol, but they are FS eligible...
Got a box of 1981 unc mint sets. They're very abraded on the cellophane and smudged. It's difficult to see. I know some are just 61-3 But there are some that look literally picture perfect but, again, I can't see them, or imperfections.
This was a good year for DDR and DDO.. I have some candidates and some good candidates. The perfect coins must look better in hand too.
Cut them open? What do you guys do when this happens? It's kind of like, I can't see or hold or manipulate this coin, what is the point if I can't search them or scope them? Penny nickel dime and quarter have had all kinds of dd's. I saw on a couple there's a lot of filled mintmarks and die chips.
I wanna pop them but also lol they've gone down in value. I can make a profit if the right one is there, and I'm confident they are. Do you guys just let these sit another 35 years?
I'm also worried about the plastic on the inside being damaged especially by reeded coins being more apt to cause jagged pieces.
Are more and more of these being opened?
When I used to get mint sets (stopped years ago), I always opened them... So now I have boxes of boxes - I doubt these sets will ever be worth even the purchase price....at least not in this lifetime...Cheers, RickO
I think all the modern mint products may as well be opened because they include that shipping return label if you don't like your product. It shows your name address the whole shebang. Even your cost.... so may as well open it? At least, when I've made purchases within the past 2 years, that was what I had.
Insert witicism here. [ xxx ]
