First cool change find of 2017!

I got this 1939-S Jefferson Nickel back in change yesterday evening at my friendly home town DG! Jefferson Nickels were the first series I collected as a boy back in the early '80's. Many of my album coins I found in circulation back then- never found a '39-s. Neat to find this floating around in circulation 78 years later...a fun reunion when a tired, wore out Jefferson finds it's way to an appreciative collector that will finally give it some rest.

Very nice find.... the older Jefferson's are becoming scarce.... I have started watching for them - mainly because I had not seen any in quite a while... and also because I have been watching for war nickels. Cheers, RickO
