I have read this before.... often wondered why people were not gathering and burning the leaves in a barrel to collect the gold.... Cheers, RickO
Should smell good too while mining leaves fer gold

Is this what they mean by "goldleaf"?

cool!
I knew it would happen.
When I worked for a large plating facility in California, we did extensive gold plating of electronic parts. Every six months we took the filters from the exhaust vents on the roof down, scraped them down and burned the residues.... always resulted in small beads of gold which was reclaimed. 'Experts' will tell you that gold does not vaporize.... they are wrong....We proved it over and over again. Lots of other stories about missing gold from that facility too.... Cheers, RickO
Perhaps a lot like boiling sap to make syrup?

We have gold in our bodies in nano concentrations. It's uses are not well understood. No surprise that it exists in plant life considering gold comes from the ground/earth/vapor/water. We do eat plants.
My wife said chop the trees down and start mining.
