Raw eBay gone right & help with possible DDR identification: 31-s buff

Picked up this overlooked piece with the hopes it would be the luster bomb it is. Wonderful rose/blue hues to boot. A few major hits away from really high grade, but very pretty to look at IMO.

Upon closer inspection, it has a diagnostic die crack running from the buffalo head to U in United States. Problem is that the die crack is the diagnostic for two of the three DDRs as well as the RPM. I would appreciate any and all help from the boards whether there is any 'there' there. General comments also welcome.
