So everyone, I just now found this 2011 D Nickel. Am I looking at DD or MD or even Die Deteriation???

    Some of it even looks tripled.

    Really deceptive machine doubling.

    Die erosion doubling.
    Note that all the doubling is in the direction of the local flow lines.

    I was thinking a definite yes until the comments. This hobby continually baffles.

    I would have said machine doubling until I read Dan's post... He is certainly more qualified than I to judge this one.... plus, his detail has educated me further... good point to check in the future - doubling in the direction of flow lines... Thanks Dan...Cheers, RickO
