Skyman, Love the thread and all the toners, but this thread now takes forever to load. (modem speed at 60 mbps) How about starting a second thread titled Post a toned coin 2? Anyone else experiencing this?
I've noticed that certain pages take a long time to load, which I'm guessing is based on some people putting in significantly data dense images, but I haven't noticed the thread as a whole taking a long time to load. I'll monitor it this week, and if it seems to be an issue I can start up a PaTC # 2 next Monday.

The thread is pretty fast for me but I'm at 90 Mbps right now. Mobile would be slower. I'd be surprised if the thread takes a long time to load due to the number of pages, but perhaps the aggregate size of images per page.
With a similar amount of photos, even a 1 page thread with the same amount of photos on that page should take a similar amount of time. An issue is if people are page through the thread vs. just going to the end, but this should affect even a 2 page thread.

This.
The thread as a whole is not loaded into memory or in the browser -- just the page you're viewing. So if you're experiencing this now, you will also experience this in a new thread.
Here's a couple I pulled out of an old Whitman album. Every dime except the bottom one had the dark rainbow effects. The bottom one has a beautiful pastel toning I found unusual

This one is mesmerizing in hand:
Holy cow, that’s amazing! I think @jwitten would love to own that one!
Here’s something a little more pedestrian by comparison:
It was unfortunately filed, but has some nice reddish toning.
Both of these are amazing!
What is this coin?
It’s a Central American Republic 1/2 escudo. Here’s the other side if that helps
