1934 P and D Washingtons for the Dansco
Here are the 1934 P and D Washingtons (there was no S mint this year) for my A toner Dansco. As mentioned last week, for the 1934 - 1936 stretch of coins, I'm predominantly going for nice AU coins. The P I got raw, and the D I cracked out of a PCGS AU55 slab. The images are by Bob Campbell, and I think he did an excellent job.

Nice looking representatives for your album.
Nice tone on the 34-D.
Both admirable examples- good taste!
Nice quarters... how close is your set to completion? Great pictures too... Cheers, RickO
Thank you Ricko.
Of the 1940 - 1964 Washingtons that I originally set out to complete I've got two full Danscos (A and B toner) and one Dansco (C toner) that is missing one piece (1942).
I decided a few years ago to fill in the 1932 - 1939 slots in the A Dansco. This weekend I filled in the last slot there (1938), although I'd like to upgrade my 1937-S (I'd like to get one with better toning) and the 1939, which is AU.
About the same time I decided to add the 1930's Washingtons, I decided to add some clad to the A toner Dansco. For the clad I'm just getting the 1965 - 1985 range. I'm NOT trying to get the 1986 - 1997, as they look too much like tokens to me. Of the 38 date/mm of the 1965 - 1985 range (I'm including the 1976-S silver business strike) I still need three; 1971, 1979 and 1981.
U.S. Type Set
Great... seems you have done really well..... almost three full sets.... Cheers, RickO
