The Irish have a long tradition of precious metal mining and smithing. Let's see some leprechaun pots of gold or Irish silver!
We are like children who look at print and see a serpent in the last letter but one, and a sword in the last.

I have an Erie half-crown around here somewhere, but I can't put my hands on it.
I knew it would happen.
Nobody?
Well here's a shot to keep the thread alive for tonight at least
Upper left is an Isle of Man "noble". It's a one ounce platinum coin.
Isle of Man is off the coast of Ireland, in the Irish sea between Ireland and England. So it's kinda St. Patricks-y
Older stackers will remember these were kind of a hot commodity when they were first introduced in the 1980s. They lost favor with the introduction of the Pt maples and eagles. I still think they're sexy. They were the platinum equivalent of a krugerrand--as with the gold krugerrand, the noble was designed to be legal tender, circulating at the value of an ounce of platinum on any given day.

Sweet 100 oz engelhard Weiss.
My newp is not from Ireland but is from the British Isles. Its 868 grams of sterling that arrived on Monday just before the storm hit here in the East. The seller attributed it to John Moore and it is hallmarked London 1770. I will put it to practical use this evening.

You guys never disappoint on Fridays. Love the pics!
I never made it to my LCS this week. If I wasn't working, I was digging out from winter storm Stella.

That 10 oz silver bar with the stylist U S flag is quite attractive. I'm going to have to pick up a couple.

Here is my current stack:
Nice metals Sango! How do you like the silver bar tubes for storage?
Great looking stack, Geck. I really like the kilo RMC bars. I bought one last year from JM Bullion. What are those 2 poured bars in the top left corner? 10 oz. Engelhard and Sunshine?

Yes and yes.
Downtown, thanks! The tube is awful neat, I have bought lots of bars but usually in the sheets. The tube style I like a lot!
Gekster,
Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeepic!
Thanks. Those are not all stuff I just bought last week though! I have been an "on again, off again" stacker for more than 10 years. I just recently got back into it.
Brilliant time to do so, good sir!
I love this stuff too, and have in the past been the same way (off/on/breaks)
Mine for the week
Hoard the keys
@mrkbrown87... Wow, big lot for one week.... Do you do that every week?? Some nice stuff there... Cheers, RickO
Mark,
Love the bars!
Sold some silver eagles at the coin show Friday for spot +2.10 which I thought was pretty good. Used the proceeds to buy a 2006 NGC MS69 Gold Buffalo for spot plus $35. Had fun doing it.
While I was at the show, a dealer had a binder full of walking liberty half dollars stolen from their table with about $5,000 worth of coins in it. I felt horrible for the dealer.
Last one for the weekend...

Wow...sorry to hear about that coin theft.... I assume no surveillance cameras at the show...They can really help... Let us know if you hear of recovery.... or any further details. Cheers, RickO
