what now??? 1964d kennedy TDO, ddr, d/d , pr type obv. hair, business rev.

This one should be around ms 64 maybe higher I've never had a coin graded.
satin silver beauty. close to perfect without magnification. Do I need to know the
exact specifics to ask for variety listing or will the grading do whats best after they
get the coin? I'm confident its everything I claim and probably more. What about
selling it raw to a more experienced collector or dealer??
first I want a ball park value estimate. any advice appreciated

If you send a coin in for PCGS Variety Attribution, you do not need to tell them which variety you are submitting. You just need to pay the additional fee on top of the normal grading fee.
However, if you do know the variety, you should also write that down on the form as it would certainly help to ensure your coin gets attributed correctly.
Good luck.

I admit your post has me confused.
Are you sure it's not also the super rare D mint SMS coin that might also be a flip-over double strike struck over a 1963-D Franklin Half?
D yes. the drip off the 4 is covered by doubled or re engraving. so I dont know
maybe its special strike or thats what I've always suspected.
youre funny too. what if i said I have the 1964 d nickel full steps struck with the famous
SMS type die
