Hey guys, Yeah, I'm going back to work today after a rest for 3 months. I injured my knee at work in Dec. I tore my " meniscus". Ouch!!! Had to have surgery and now I guess it's healed? (God willing?). I feel pretty good and pumped up to get back into the swing of things. Ready to get back on my horse. LOL. Could you guys post any U.S. Coin, ending in the number, 3? Thanks in advance. -joey ;)

Glad you're better OP. I was out of work a year and a half. Lost all my savings and 90% of my coins.

    From grandpa.

From dad. Front is purple-blue, back is brass colored.

So I had to buy one that actually looks like a coin.

Glad to hear you are mostly mended. As you get old, the docs tend to want to make a full replacement.

Glad you are worked on and healed.
Tore my meniscus about 10 years ago. First doctor said "major bruise...it will go away". Months later, still in pain (and still playing pick up basketball, limping all the time), and 2nd doctor said "you need PT". Did 6 months of that and got worse.
After almost 2 years total, saw a 3rd doctor who specialized in injuries like this (and had played basketball himself and worked on the team from the local, major, university). He took about 30 seconds looking, said "torn meniscus" and "get the surgery scheduled".

He was right on the money and I was pretty much pain free, but hobbled, right after the surgery.

Be very glad you got it done sooner than later!

Wow, guys! Thanks for all the concerns and well wishes. Like I always say, you guys ROCK! What beautiful pics of your coins too. Just got back from my first day (10 hour day) My knee held up pretty good, thank you, Jesus! But I am very tired and pooped. 3 months off can take a lot out of a person on his/her first day back. The Doctor must of performed a excellent job for 10 hours on my feet and no pain, just warn out. Thanks again everyone! -joey <3

Yes, a great Doctor, that he is most certainly. As a matter of fact, he suggested even more time off. When I told him, that I think it is time to get back, Doc. Jokingly, he said, " Do you want to go back or do you HAVE to go back?" When saying that, he looked at my wife. LOL Let me just say, my wife is my #1 supporter! She was the one that kept suggesting to rest even longer, I'm the one that wanted to get back. Thank you. :)

Oh, hi Doc! Well, it really wasn't 3 months off because for the first month, they had me still at work on "light Duty". Then, the last 2 months, I spent resting at home. but since the injury happened, it was a total of 3 months hurt. Thanks Doc, I send my bill to 'ya later. LOL ;)
