Just got this today. Apparently only 300 were made. An interesting find. :)

    For those that may not know Grover Criswell was the foremost expert on Confederate currency. It has been said that he was the "richest man in the world in Confederate money."

    Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe that bar was produced by Grover's brother. He produced several bars during that period including one that featured Chet Krause. Production numbers were low.

    Carolina Mint is what I've read. But I'm not familiar with them.

    I sold some items to Grover during the 1970s and remember his colorful checks, now collectibles.
