Those are Japanese WWII notes that the Japanese Government issued to US citizens when they took over US territories in the Philippines. The Americans there called these notes "Mickey Mouse Money".
Here are photos of a Japanese Invasion 10 dollar note. Japan also issued Invasion Rupees in addition to Pesos. It's interesting to think about both their ambition and their reach.
I have a few of these from my collecting years ago, and have recently added several more from what my late Dad brought back with him after serving in the Philippines during the war years. I also have a couple "Hawaii" notes pulled from circulation back in my retail years in the 1980's, believe it or not. Both have given me a much greater appreciation for history as told thru those small pieces of paper.
Neat old bills... I was vaguely aware of these, not being a bill collector... However, looking at the above pictures, I might add a couple strictly for historical interests.... Cheers, RickO

More info is on Wikipedia.
These are Japanese occupation money issued for the Philippines during World War II.
They are very common.

They were produced in large numbers and have quite a bit of history attached to them, but not much value.
In honor of the memory of Cpl. Michael E. Thompson
These have a neat bit of history. It's interesting to think of US territory being conquered and Americans being issued currency by another country.
For the value of your notes, check completed sales on eBay.
I like the notes the US issued in response to these, the US Philippines VICTORY silver certificates. The photos below are from the bay:
I have set they made for the US if they invaded ! Got them from Littleton coin cpmpany when I was a kid

The "Japanese notes for the invasion of America" are actually Japanese occupation notes for Malaya.
I remember the same "invasion of America" sales pitch from the Johnson-Smith Company for these notes.
