2017 U.S. Mint releases....what's going to be hot and what's not?

Are there going to be any huge winners this year? Which ones are the busts? Choose any criteria (flipping or long term collecting) for judging. speculating, justifying, or evaluating in your responses.

    I like anything high relief.

Gold and silver are valuable but wisdom is priceless.

Who knows? Someone at the mint has determined to place their head up someone's derriere, and made the decision not to publish a product schedule for the year. They're doing it month by month, making it impossible to budget or plan for any upcoming issue. They're being very mum about any sort of special releases. For instance, will there be another Native American (enhanced finish) C&C set this year? Maybe not after the fubar mintage and stupid early HHL numbers last year.

The 2017 gold American Liberty will probably not be a winner. They may actually sell a number of them, but I predict the mintage will be so high that they won't sell out, nor will there be a filp. (We'll find that out in a couple of weeks.) There will be a new gold American Liberty coin every two years, there's nothing special about this one. (I do suspect there will be complaints from the public when they find out the mint wants $1600 for a $100 coin.)

The 2017 American Liberty silver medal set might be a winner depending on mintage. If it's less than 15K, I'm in. However, I suspect we'll see kennedy numbers, like 50-100K sets in response to the last AL silver medal fiasco. These sets will also be on the order of $250-300.

Other than the American Liberty coins/medals, the mint has made to effort to inform the public of any special releases. I was hoping for a .999 silver proof set for their 225th, but they aren't even going there.
