Friday is METAL PORN day

I actually got some nice things this week, but they left my hands as soon as I acquired them :(

I was able to spend a few minutes with vault material and made a few shots I thought were good enough to share with the class:

    Very nice... and that old Spanish silver seems to be lonely among all the clean shiny stuff... Cheers, RickO

    Here's my haul for the week. I went to a large antique show over the weekend that comes to town 3 times a year. It's always fun to cruise around and look for numismatic "junque".
    Perhaps the coolest item is the old bank savings book full of silver dimes. (Yes, I checked them all)

    Thank you, Sir. It's my new desktop screen saver. The image might take awhile to grow on you. But I love the balance and colors. I think it would make a great jigsaw puzzle :)

    The Spanish 8 reale is 1800, the 2nd republic un peso to its upper right is 1872.

    Latest bar pickups...the Credit Suisse still in original logo packaging is more vintage than any other I've seen, and the Denron looks like it's been eviscerated :D

    We had to pay about $3 over spot for it but it was worth it to add such a cool quirky odd weight bar to the PERMAstack. It's the first 15ozer we've picked up, I don't see many in that size, it will be fun to hunt for others...
