HAPPY COLLECTING
@oih82w8 Congrats on the cool coin. Even aside from the era when they were issued, I've always thought 3CNs were so interesting for the numerous die clashes the early years typically show and the die polishing that was devoted to removing traces of the clashes. You can see a clash on the obverse with one of the I's poking though under Liberty's chin. And on the reverse you can see the die polishing that makes the ends of the bow float in space. What a nice coin!!
Now, while I think the coin is cool, being an academic I think your degree is even cooler. Definitely congratulations on that!!
Beautiful coin! Congrats on the new degree. May your career in the field be more satisfying than mine.

...because once you have a Master's Degree, throwing in your 2-cents worth isn't good enough! You need 3?
Congrats!
Well done, on both counts.
I've always loved the 3CN design. There's something about it that reminds me of several of our pattern coins.
Do I see some toning beginning to happen?

That's a well earned treat, and uncirculated CW coinage is a good one to choose.
