Roll and bag searching

For the last 5 years I have looked threw rolls of cents I get from a local credit union. I also was able to always buy the 5000 count bags of cents out of the coin counting machine when it was full. Normally I had about a bag every 3 weeks and did a box a week. It's very relaxing to me as I normally did it while on the porch smoking my evening cigar. I decided once I had a jar full of wheats to get a board and see what I could fill in. Here is the results so far. 2 plastic play coins, 2 proofs, 5 indian heads, 4 errors (3 minor broads trikes and a blank planchet) and the rest of the wheats on the board

Awesome!
I still find it hard to fathom that IHCs are still out there.
I'm just not lucky.....
I'm surprised you have found a 39-D and not an S.
16-S and 21 were cool circ. finds.
Thanks everyone, I thought it was a pretty neat idea to do something maybe one day I can give to my kids or grandkids

When I was in my early years I used to walk about 3/4 mile one way to my local bank and get $50 in cents (pennies) and trudge home with them 3/4 mile. Was not able to legally drive as yet. They weren't heavy as the thought of unsearched fortune awaited me and masked any pain from the trek home. I did this weekly. I got to know a teller who was very kind to me. He would go in the vault and pick out only older wrapped rolls. Was very lucky as one time I "hit" 11 rolls of steel cents. At the time I also started out to complete a Lincoln Cent date set of laminations. I got about 60% there. All from searched rolls. Still have the "set" and work on it on occasion. Years ago I passed on a 1909-S VDB lamination cent. Regret it now. Later on and a bit older, and now driving, I became friends with another teller at a different branch of the same bank. He would also get me "old' wrapped rolled of cents and nickels. No big hits but had the smattering of silver nicks. and occasional Buff. Never a 50-D nick. He did not care what may of been inside the cent, nickel rolls, as he was after the silver. He was buying those, dime, quarter, halfs, rolls and searching those. As I collected errors and "regular" coins I was seldom disappointed with my searches. I had the best of both (coin) worlds, so to speak. I was happy with my little corner of collecting. Can't have everything and you take what is offered.
