    No, it looks like it was pressed/rolled to fit in a aluminum holder at one time?

    But others may no better.

    cased cent makes sense , post mint damage for sure whatever its affliction.

    What's the reverse look like?
    Is there a very thin raised line of metal all the way around?
    If so, I agree with others who stated it was a lucky cent.
