Looks like a early die state too . Hard to get the light under the leg of that " L " .

Looking at your pictures (excellent by the way), the top one 'might' show some type of doubling on the TY in liberty... also may just be the light.. other than that, I really do not see it.. Cheers, RickO

    Stash, I want to see it......but I don't.
It looks to me as if the mintmark placement on your coin is closer to the digits of the date than the coin shown at Coneca's website.
Particularly, if you were to draw a line straight down from the left side of the second "1", it would just miss touching the right curve of the "D" on the coin pictured as Die 1 at Coneca.
If you were to drop a straight line down from the left side of the "1" on your coin, it would slice the right side of the curving "D."
    Hence, not the same die.
Also, your coin's MM appears to be repunched as well. (Might just be the photograph...hard for me to tell, but serif at top left looks split.)
Believe me, I understand the "fever of the find" and sometimes we see what we really really want to see.
I have done it......many of us who variety search have done it.
    It's part of the deal.
Sometimes when I think I have found something really cool and/or unusual and/or unlisted (and, yes I have found quite a number of them) I will make notes on the 2x2 or envelope or whatever I may have stuck the coin in.......go chill for a day or two and then go back and see if I still see what I thought I saw.
    Sometimes I do and sometimes I don't.
This used to happen more than it does now.....perhaps I have finally figured out how to temper my youthful exuberance.
I have figured that out because I ain't youthful any more! :)
Stash, I hope I am wrong and you found what you think you found, but I don't think so.....and none of this was meant as a poke at you.
On a coin such as the 15-D, there probably would be very little premium attached to the relatively minor DDO.
Just my opinion--I have not bought or sold this variety.
Keep looking Stash...this was not meant to discourage. :D

Mintmark position is definitely not a match imo.

Agree, not enough space between the 9 and D to match the example.
