OMG.... Look what I discovered. Condition census maybe. (exonumia) ...and joke

I found these today. Squirreled away in a DRESSER drawer.
Not even in a box from the ...MOVE.
Nope. In the very bottom of a dresser drawer.
From the 1960's. I remember getting these dumb things when I bought gas.
AND..... not the brass ones only. (sorry, no red. or even RB....and BLURRY)
The RARE and DESIRABLE..... aluminum ones.

I have no idea why this forum makes the images upside down.
But it adds to the SUSPENSE!

Nice! I have the exact same blue board and a complete bronze set that i got from my grandpa about 40 years ago.
He's long gone now, but he told me he patiently collected these from buying gas.

I seem to recall tokens from Shell Gas Co. in the late 1960s.
I begged my father to fill up there so I could get them.
Maybe Sinclair too... ??? .Trying to sift through the foggy pea soup of memory an/or false memories...????
It was Shell.
I hit a fifty bucker one time.
I have never seen these before... Well, spent a lot of time living outside the U.S. during that general time frame... I do remember green stamps and getting glasses with a fill up... that was a long time ago... now, nothing... Cheers, RickO
