You think you have a coin or you think you don't

There is a coin that I have that has a mint mark and I know I own it ---but for some reason I think I have the Philadelphia coin of the same date. And I keep having to remind myself I don't. Lol
Anyone ever convinced they own a coin that they don't or don't own a coin that they do ?

I have not dropped off the deep end as of yet, but do find myself looking for a coin for days.....Where the hell did I put that damn thing???
Yes, I know the feeling, dude. Long time ago, (10 yrs.) I purchased a 1888 Indian Cent with it being possibly the major variety, the 1888/7. For years I been seeing the west part of the 7 in the top of the 8, but only viewing with a loupe, I couldn't really tell. Until I recently, bought a powerful scope (500x Mag.). but here comes the dilemma. I can not, for the world of me, find the stupid coin!!!! Where in the world did I put it? I keep fighting with myself about it! I know for sure I wouldn't sell it for that reason, I still wasn't sure if It was the Big one or not? Oh well, Maybe it will show up? So, to answer your question, yes, I thought I had the coin?LOL

--- If it should happen I die and leave this world and you want to remember me. Please only remember my opening Sig Line.I can't find the raw Indian Cent I used up my $2.50 eBay Bucks on.
tragic.
I have an 1880-S MS66 PL* Morgan and for some reason I always think it's an 1881-S until I see it again. 0_0

I'm looking for a stunning broadstrike memorial cent. And gosh I'm not that old.
My wife remembers everything but she gets those two mixed up, too!
Somewhere in the confines of this abode is a cameo 1955 Franklin half dollar. When I'm gone, my kids cleaning out the house will happen upon it and sell it for $2 in a yard sale.

Once upon a time I bought a half roll of AG 16-D dimes (at about $100 ea.), I sold them all except one, I know it's in my house and can't find it. Also, most of the AGs from back then are now magically full G, so I would like to have it.
Whereas, I have a 1893 Morgan. It's not an 1893-S. But sometimes I remember it as an "S".
Maybe it's the label: There's an "S" next to the "$1".
Since the "S" is at least 10 times more valuable, there's also some wishful thinking involved.

@COCollector.... Why is there an S next to the $??
No, I may forget I have a coin for a while...until I open a certain drawer in the coin cabinet or check a shelf in the safe... Never have thought I owned one but did not. Cheers, RickO
No, but I remember when I was a kid I had more than one dream at night that I owned a coin when I didn't. One specifically was a 1924-D Lincoln cent, which I could never find in circulation. It was a letdown when I woke up and realized it was just a dream.
