Hi guys, I paid $5 for the Set. Would you say my Quarter will make the Cameo or even Deep Cameo designation? Thanks in advance guys. -joey

Yes on the cam, no on the dcam. Is it worth sending in? Nope. You need a 69 just to "maybe" break even!
I believe with a dip you'd have a shot at DCAM...the mark above the motto on the obverse limits the grade to probably a 67, maybe 68 IMHO.
Thank you both. Yes, you're right. If it don't DCAM, It's not worth sending in. I thought maybe? It could hit the DCAM designation? but probably not? The DCAM in a 66 would be great! A 67 would freak me out! Thanks again, guys. -joey

--- If it should happen I die and leave this world and you want to remember me. Please only remember my opening Sig Line.My icon was purchased raw a number of years ago - in a <$10 set. Came back 69dcam so it was worth the gamble. The reverses seem to be the toughest to find dcam frost.
Good luck on yours - looks like a dcam shot to me based on the pics.

And more likely to grade PR68 at best rather than PR69 creating a coin that can be bought on eBay right now for less than $33 already PCGS graded (PR68CAM). And, herein lies the problem of trying to pursue this "great beast" in PCGS-PR69DCAM. I've screened perhaps 10,000 - 20,000+ of these sets over the years and submitted hundreds of possible candidates over that time span and, if memory serves me right, have successfully graded -1- PR69DCAM of this coin in all that time (33 years of trying). It could have been -2-.
Best of luck! Someone wins the lottery obviously every day and it could be you this time!

I'll be happy if it DCAM'ed 67 or 68.

Looks like a CAM to me.
PR68, probably not worth sending in.
Worth a shot.

the two-sided frost and nicely mirrored fields on this date are easy enough to find, but the planchets seem to have been plagued with ticks and scratches, flaws which were too deep to strike out. every time I find a DCAM bomb it is disqualified for those reasons, and as others have said, if you can't grade at 69 it is a wash.
keep looking and keep the nice coins you find.
Thank you all! I probably will not send in? Even my Dealer friend not to.
