Hey everyone. New to the forum, getting my legs and such. I hope this is the appropriate place.

I came across a 1975 nickel punched on a quarter planchet. Info I've found seems to suggest there were a lot of problems in 75 on both coins.

Is this a rarity? I found it as a child and put it in a slip cover and I guess forgot about it.

Is if worth anything more than being awesome? I don't see anything else like it on the internet.

Cheers and thanks!!

Thats pretty neat! How much does it weigh? What does the edge look like?

There are some error collectors on here that can tell you more about it than I can.

That is an off center nickel on a nickel planchet worth about 25 dollars.

Not much to add - a nice example
of a dated off center Jeff. Looks
like a very nice coin; about $20
retail, if you find someone who's
birthday or other even took place
    in '75.
