How 'bout a BU roll of 1955s Lincoln Cents?
Hey guys, I thought since the year 1955 was a special year for the '55 San Francisco Minted Cents, the last year for Wheaties in the S Mint. That I would frame the roll and place the cents in individual containers. I did this approx.10 years ago. What do you guys think?

Notice: The two last cents, are the two end toners. Sorry for the fuzz and dog hair.
One More Thing... I might try to sell at the Tinley Show? How much do you think I'll get? Here are those two toners!

Hoard the keys.
Ahh yes the great rarity of "kid collecting" days. Check for the cud that makes the LIBIERTY error. Bet'cha you got one! As to value, I'd say in the $40-$50 range.
Thanks! You know what? I don't think there was one? and concerning the famous, DD, no, that was the first thing I checked 10 yrs. ago.
You say, $40-$50 huh? Cool, I hope I would get that offer.

Please only remember my opening Sig Line.Yes, as a matter of fact, when I was a kid, I had an uncle living in San Francisco. He would send my brother and I little packages of 'S' mint cents. Even after a year or so of that, I still had to buy the '55 s from Littleton......Paid a whopping 15 cents for it, but that number two book was now full. That was about 1964.......
I like the streaky toned ones.
Ah, yes. The discontinuation of "S" cents in 1955 was REALLY BIG in 1955 for a 10-year-old! Everyone was all into getting me 1955-S UNCs for Christmas, birthday, etc. that year. Never amounted to anything (44 million+ were minted), but numismatics were exciting then!
I would have been in awe (in the Biblical sense) with this assemblage back then!
Here's a warning parable for coin collectors...
Very nice

Nice and an interesting idea.... too bad there were no 'specials' in the roll... I have a couple of old bank rolls of '43 cents that I have never opened... had them now for twenty years.... Each time I look at them I think... "I wonder if there is anything special in there?".... Then, with super human effort (
), I walk away... Cheers, RickO
That's a woman's (man's) intuition!
