If I could get away with not paying a premium for Reds or RB's, I love to own them. But as it is, I enjoy a nice evenly toned brown example just as much.
It depends on the type and if the color looks good on that particular coin. For my modern Lincolns, I prefer Red. For large cents I like RB and Brown, but I will tend towards brown (especially if it is a pretty brown).

Some brown with deep cherry red accents. That's where it's at.
But for Large Cents I'm all about lustrous brown.

Brown for sure. Worrying about red copper turning brown in my care is way too stressful for me.
