Casino Ka-ching/pleasant surprise.

On my recent trip to an area casino not only won a few dollars but received a 43-P silver nickel in change. As most casinos nowadays have T/I,T/O vouchers this casino is no different. I cash out the vouchers throughout the visit looking for change from the cashout machine. One time when I did this I heard an unfamiliar clunk/saw a dark coin in the change tray. And there was the silver nickel. It had light delamination/lam. striations as an added bonus. These are common errors on warnickels. But since that type of error is my favorite, I was quite pleased. Suggest you try this angle of circulation searching when you visit a casino. Get your voucher to end in .99 cents, then cash it out. Only drawback is you might end up with pocketfuls of coins. But you could take those home and study them for varities etc. This particular casino had alot of 2017-P Jeffersons being dispensed from the cashout voucher machine.

It has been a long time since I have been to a casino... did not know about vouchers. Always used chips when I was in Vegas.....Had to request a sack a couple of times to carry them to the cash window.... :) Cheers, RickO
