Hi guys, It's been 8 yrs. since these coins came out and I finally found one of the key variety's of the series, in the wild! I have many of these varieties already from way back in 2009 but this particular one is a bugger to find. I believe it's the 006 "Skeleton Finger"? If not the 006, what is it? Check it out. I know it's not the greatest condition. Some sort of smear above the index finger?

Further study on the Wexler site, now I'm seeing a 095 Variety, instead of the 006 Skeleton Finger? See what I mean by saying that the 006 is a bugger to find. Even though, the 095 isn't too shabby either. $50 in a MS65 condition. :)

    Here's Wexler's 095

Joey, that looks completely different. Possibly even a scratch?

Yours looks almost like a shadow compared to the 095.... same shape though...Cheers, RickO

A scratch and a shadow? Sure, it might be a bad picture but that image is there.
    Here's a better shot.

I can see it now. Dont know what variety it is. The 2009 extra finger ddr's spin my head :s
Good luck with the attribution, though. I have found a few in the wild. 2009 cents are difficult to find in general, but when encountered I'd say at least 1 out of 10 has some finger anomaly.

Thanks. Finding any variety in this series is very unusual, for me anyway. Like I mentioned in my OP. After 8 years, this is the first time I found any variety. and yes, I know, there are 100 DD's in this series. Just for the Reverse 09's. In saying that, don't anyone find THAT odd? 100 different varieties in ONE type of coin? Can you name any other coin in all the History of American coins, ever to come close to this rarity? Hmmmmm?
