    As an addition.
The coin is in an old NGC fattie slab that I purchased in the late 80's or maybe very early 90's and has just been sitting in a SB since. Never sent in for stickers, reslabs, or reviews.

The coin looks like it's hammered on the obverse. I'd say an easy MS 66 fb by today's standards.

Bands are a tad flat but separated.

Currently in a 65-FB holder...would need to see it in hand to figure out if the toning is terminal. If it isn't terminal it would be a 66-fb.

Looks to be solid 65 FB and it could easily upgrade. The toning is quite normal for Mercs and seems acceptable to me. I wouldn't dip it. I'd leave it alone in this old holder as many of us dig the old fatso's. If you ever want to do anything with it....CAC should be your first $10 stop. Even the old fatties are slowly disappearing from the scene, especially the real early ones.

I'm going with 66FB. Nice & original at that.

Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.

I think its in a 66fb, probably be a 67fb now. Roadrunner is right on the old slabs disappearing.

First look gave me MS65FB..... does not appear to have any luster, which would bump it to 66...Cheers, RickO

The bands are a little flat but there is separation for sure.
Not sure how CAC handles designations as I have never sent anything to CAC.
These are old pics and I have the label but not the full slab. Sorry.
