2016 Penny with die break?

Hello, new here and somewhat new to coin searching. In the picture it appears to be a die break
as opposed to lamination error. Can anyone confirm this please.

Thanks a bunch!

    When did we get manners?

Welcome! Neat find btw! What type of device did you take the picture with?

It is indeed a die crack (or break). Nice!

    Welcome to the forum!

Hello and thanks for all the comments so far! The camera I am using is the Opti-Tek Scope Model OT-HD. You can get on Amazon for around 90.00 or so dollars.

I agree with it being a die crack but would like to see a picture of the whole coin (because of it's date). Can you post it OP?

Can you adjust your color? Maybe an old tungsten light bulb will help? Is it red or that steel grey color?

Nice microscope camera for that price. Sounds like you just plug it in and go. I would also love to see a picture of the whole coin as well.

Heres a bit better pic of the coin, plus I had said it was 2016 D but it was only 2016 P.

I think I might buy one of those setups. It takes nice pictures. Do you just plug it in and go?
