Ah, I see another broken promise from this db. I'm willing to bet that another neg on his c.b. report is like putting water on ducks feathers. Without a judgment, there is not much the collection agency can do. Good luck

The collection agency told me they can act on evidence without a court judgment, an invoice or contract dishonored, email exchanges, etc.. But of course if the DB hides and ducks for cover it may be hard. A lot of opioid addicts out there.

What does opiod addiction have to do with you sending your money to some deadbeat ??

Simple ..No money... idea this deadbeat probably has a low wage job ,Living at home w/Parents ,doesn't want Collectors calling to let parents know he has become a non payer

    Wow !
The guy is obviously a professional crook, but you guys and your assumptions just make me laugh .
I don't think you live in the real world to be honest.
I'm sorry you lost your money, but any of us that have been buying or selling for any period of time have been beaten.
    It's sad but true !!

I have the homeowners information (including work address and phone numbers)

There are also two "boys" that are living there (have their info too)

Feel free to message me if you want the info. Happy to provide it at this point.

I don't know professional.. but paying off in installments tells me this guy doesn't have a dime to spare.
As for everyone gets taken .. well as buyers, this shouldn't happen .. no checks .. no money orders , no cashiers check , just Paypal,,, I don't know about you .. but following this easy rule saved from me being taken ,, Laugh? ..LOL

I got taken for $1150. It was the first and only time I've been taken, and I should have seen the signs regarding this guy.

But if I took your advice and only used Paypal on every transaction I've made regarding buying silver on the 4 websites I've frequented, I would have paid out over $6,000 in fees.

Successful transactions with Schmitz7, Bigbuck1975, chumley, CCHunter, Smittys, Gerard, Tookybandit, MorganMan94, LogPotato, coinlieutenant, GoldCoin98, pcgs69, Kccoin, ajaan, JBN, BLee23,....

I checked around on private detective, collection agency, and lawyer options. None of them had a contingency option except this one: http://www.icollectcorp.com/ The private detective wanted a minimum of $500, lawyers wanted more, another collection agency wanted a lot of money up front. As usual do your own DD.

Problem isn't Paypal ,,it is the 4 sites you frequent. Nothing is free of work . Collectors need to get smart ....get info to avoid being taken ,even by big dealers, B&Ms, some sellers on BST
Crooks use the allure of a good or real good deal to suck in scam targets

Once you get an address, remember Google Earth.
Take a look around the "neighborhood."

    Might get a clue.
    Maybe.

Great idea top, I know real estate investors that use google earth to assist with purchase decisions. For example they can take a list of 100 properties and narrow it down to 10. On the remaining 10 they use local contacts to then take pictures of the outside, etc... and they can generally narrow it down to 1 or 2 properties to actually go see in person.

Successful coin BST transactions with Gerard and segoja.

    Okay,
A crime has been committed. Call me old fashioned but why not call the cops?

He is now using an "alt" on these forums.

You know, if you contact the admin. for here, you can ask him to compare the email address that was used for the prior screen name to any new registrations with same. The only proactive measure that PCGS will take is to ban the new alt.

He is of course going to use a different throw-away email address. The only thing pcgs can do is do an IP-ban.

Here's a simple suggestion, a list of good sellers and buyers decided by the members here and our host does have the ability to pin the list to the top of the BST just like they stick the rules and announcements atop other forums. Secondly, for all questionable transactions, payment and package goes to/through a trusted member wherever they may be located for the convenience of the two parties. The buyer can pick up their package, give approval or not and either the package is returned to the seller or the payment is sent. Of course, none of the above would be necessary between two trustworthy parties.

If it might help any, I made a "good guy" thread in BST. I've both managed these and seen them work on other websites without any accountability in place for buying selling or exchanging.

When it gets too big, someone can make part 2. If someone wants to do a precious metals or world coins and others that would be nice. I'll be online between two jobs and don't mind managing it.

If you think keeping the OP updated with every following post, click the "LOL" button in that thread and I'll manage it if I get enough of them.. otherwise it'll just be posts if you guys just want that.

That is to say, if you're wondering if person X is a good guy, just read the newly edited OP in alphabetical order. It'll save you time sifting through threads. You'll see how many +1's someone has.

I'll just be reading about coins anyway.

I've been off of the boards for a while, but there used to be a Circle of Trust™ here at the CF. There are some guys here, like Boichman, RYK, EagleEye, Russ, TwoSides and several others I would trust alone and unsupervised with $100K of small bills scattered on a table.
