TrueView thumbnails are now smaller and harder to see
Overall clunkier design with fonts too big
A marked loss of artistry
Due to security concerns, HTML is no longer allowed to be embedded by users.
Are we talking about only allowing WRITTEN description in the registry description box?? Seems like we are regressing instead of advancing. Any options out there to let us customize the descriptions of our sets? WingedLiberty1957 recently won a contest put on by PCGS for his showcase display. Based on that he was asked to display his set at one of the major shows. Are we sure the Brass at the Top are on board with this?
My main concern with the new UI was that they disabled embedding an image in the set description. Having a banner and "about me" section (conceived by the OP) is a really unique and beautiful way of presenting your set.

Thankfully, that has been fixed! Thank you!!
I just checked my sets and WL1957's sets and there are no images or banner in either. What has been fixed?

Getting rid of the ability to add HTML to our descriptions really really really really SUCKS! Some of us had cool stuff to share with fellow collectors and not having that will be a big loss to the Set Registry.
Security concerns???
It's odd that on one of my sets the counter I added still works, but on another, it doesn't. I'm sure things will get fixed around as everyone else starts to complain... just like when this forum changed formats. Will check back later I guess...
I was actually thinking about why they let HTML code in... massive security flaw. Trust me.

I think a few changes could help.
On a desktop, it takes forever to scroll through a set with the new larger, more spaced out formatting. The site also seems to load slower.
Personally, would like to see the following changes.
1.) Default to list all of the coins in a registry set, instead of 50.
Reason: Less clicks needed. More user friendly.
2.) Smaller font and/or less spacing in the grids. Things appear almost too large on a desktop browser.
Reason: Easier to discern information at a glance. More user friendly.
3.) Use a different color than pail green for "tied top pop" items.
Reason: Aesthetics
4.) Go back to the bright yellow color for "sole top pop" items.
Reason: Aesthetics
5.) Use a bolded font or a darker background color for the items you have already acquired. Doing this would help you quickly identify coins that you already have.
Reason: Easier to discern information at a glance. More user friendly.
I like the majority of the other changes. Everything looks clean. I haven't added/sold any coins yet with the new format, so I'll comment on those changes as I experience them.
One, especially... maybe some preset color schemes. Classic, new, etc.. otherwise this is fine.
Can photos uploaded be side-by-side instead of stacked to cut down on fat rows with lots of empty space?
Can we get a "one page" option so all coins can be shown without having to traverse and load and reload pages (for those of us with more than 500 coins)?

What you see when you log in is different from what's public. When logged in you have an option to switch to a public view wherein all pics for a coin are shown. Is that maybe why you aren't seeing all of your pics?

All this bitching kind of reminds me when of when the forum software was last updated.
As someone that works in IT, I can tell you that constructive comments will be a much better help to the developers that just random requests to put it back to the old way.
It looks like a lot of the changes were put in place to make it more user friendly to someone using a mobile device.
At least give them a chance to tweek a few things and see if things improve.
Carry on
It sort of reminds me when IT does something it wasn't asked to do, gets no input in advance from those to be affected, and gives no warning before implementing. I've been down that road a bunch of times. Just sayin.....
Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.
One comment to the creators- The boxes for individual sets on the "My Set Registry" page are way too large for the amount of information they contain. They can be condensed so more sets can be viewed all at once. I can only see 3 and part of a 4th at one time where prior it was easy to view many. Thanks.

The mobile version of CoinFacts is awful ... I always switch to the desktop version on the miniscule times I surf there on a mobile device. Mobile Friendly is a code word for dummied down with terrible layout and crippled format.
Why wouldnt PCGS get some feedback and input from their users before implementing? I dont get it.
The CoinFacts app is one of the most user friendly apps out there.
Get used to the Internet constantly changing. However, many changes seem riddled with useless complications posing as simplifications. Remember, the teenage kid on the skateboard from ten years ago is now running the world. Us old fartz are SOL, pretty much.
I have a long comment in my Lincoln PROOF cent 1909-Present with Major Varieties. The comment section needs to be edited so that I can add certain new data like referencing 1909 thru 2016 dates instead of 1909 thru 2015. How do I do this? Thanks. Stephen Cohen. Rank #4 current.

Go to "My Sets" from the dropdown and select the NAME of the set you want to change. (in this case it will be SJ Cohen Collection). On that page you click the "Edit" button in the box below the "What If" section to update your description.
My Inventory page no longer has indications that coins that have moved up or down in value. Also, the cost column is gone, one needs to click on the coin's details and go to another page.

A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, open the script in the debugger, or let the script continue.
When I load the "my inventory" page, with 694 coins, it takes 34 seconds (most recently). The screen is dim for that time and the spinning wheel of slow progress displays.
Eventually the page will display. Are you giving it enough time DIMEMAN?

34 seconds is way to long. The wheel stops spinning right away.

Hi Steve,
I'm not sure I understand the problem you were facing regarding the comment locations. There is the "Description" that is provided by the OWNER of the set. It shows up on your private set page (the same page you can make any changes to your set). The "Comments" section is intended for OTHERS to leave comments on your set so it shows up on the public facing set page. Both existed in the previous version in the same places. I hope that clarifies what you were referring to, if not please let me know so I can better assist you.
I did however discover the error that you noted when trying to delete a comment. We will work to address that promptly. Thanks for letting us know about that!
