Has anybody else seen this strangeness on the date? I took a picture (If you can call it that!) of the "2", "0" and the "5". What do you guy's think? Sorry for bad Pics. :/

Yeah, I know, they are bad photos. For what it's worth, I have two of these Dimes. Exact in all numbers.

I'm caught between machine doubling and a real ddo I'm like right on the fence. The first picture looks like a triple die obverse

The thing is guys that to me, when I first took a glance on these with my Loupe, it looked more of a grease filled? Let me see If I can get a better shot.

I have a half dozen of these LDS Roosevelt's- your's looks like mine joeycoins. There is significant shadowing on the obverse. They are cool but fairly common.

Finally, somebody else with these strange Roosys. They are cool, aren't they? I first spotted in 2015, when they first came out. I was very excited at the time. How 'bout you? or did you know right away what they were?

I thought they were weird- I took some photo's of them last August / September so not the best but I'll post them. I was, like you, not knowing if they were a variety, or, just maybe some strange mushiness that didn't amount to much. I found quite a few and just kept the best. In correspondence with another member here, Stash, he indicated this was from Late Die as he found these too. They are cool- will they ever be worth a premium? IDK- Probably not.

Might as well hold on to them. No loss in keeping, right? One never knows? ;)
One More Thing... Those pics, to me, are pretty good! Better than mine.

    I noticed these too.
I had 2 that were so bad that the date was nearly gone and could be discerned only by tilting the coin at a certain angle.
Most of the motto and LIBERTY was also gone.
The reverse was just as bad, with USA shadowy and indistinct.
I think I sold them for about $3 each.

Interesting.... have these been noted as a known anomaly on this date/mm?? Cheers, RickO

The first photos posted show coins struck from worn or overused dies.

This has been a much more common occurrence on
dimes and Parks Quarters series in the past 5 years
    or so.

Similar in appearance to many as either doubled dies,
    double strikes, ejection/mechanical doubling etc........
but the cause is heavily used dies, imo.
