Thanks for all the positive comments .. it represents many years of collecting and researching. Many of you here helped along the way, so thanks!
I will say that the typeset is not as clear/crisp on the Wobook document. It is an unloaded PDF file of the original word document. I tried it twice and both times it came out the same. What can you expect for something free.
Kudos to you on creating a wonderful collection and presentation. If I may point out I believe you intended to use the word provenance and instead used "providence".
well done, pleasure to browse your collection !
might as well change your name from Silvereagle into Goldeagle
might add that the numbers 78 -1/4 gulden * 79 - 6 stuivers 1778 and number 87 - 6 stuivers 1748 are new year coins.
The dutch mints made these in gold instead of the regular official silver issues , they were not offical gold coins, and the government didn't like it and tried to forbid these issues but to no avail. They were popular to give away in December to family, business relations and friends as a new year's gift. They didn't circulated and thats why they usually come in high grades. The various mints made a nice profit on these coins , they were minted in various weights with the gold ducat weight 3,5 gram as standard, minted in 1 -2 - 3 -4 ducat weight of gold.
