Asheland, is the mint now using P mintmark on the cent as well?
If they are, it's logical as they use it for the other denominations.
I remember a 2003 Lincoln Cent I used to own in a PCGS holder labelled "2003-P" MS whatever it was.
That is the only "P" designation I can recall seeing on a PCGS Lincoln Cent.
Anyone else seen one?
I'm getting a roll at 5:00 when I leave work. I'll put a picture up tonight when I do.
(of the end) I'll leave the roll sealed. I got it at an Ingles gas express.
At this early stage, I'd wonder if the Mint made a mistake or even if they made some with no mintmark. This could auger a rarity of one sort or another. Be alert!!

Will it be permanent, or are they just doing it in the anniversary year?

That's actually pretty cool.
I wonder what else might be coming?
Hopefully unannounced too so that we can just enjoy them as they dribble out from the mint.
These should be hot for a couple of months.....maybe???
Nice to see some news about my favorite denomination!

Is this real?
When did the mint start using a P mint mark on the cent?
Looks bogus!

I'll guess we will just have to see for ourselves...unusual with no announcement from the U.S. Mint or other credible sources.

Anniversary year

Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.
For what it's worth, they are actually attractive looking coins. Nice strike, luster, etc.

One year thing...225th Anniversary of the Mint might have something to do with it.

Definitely a one year minting... at least at this point... Not sure why it will only be one year, unless it is just a nod to tradition...Cheers, RickO
