I got vintage and antique angels, dragons, and oppression gold.

I traded silver for a glock 19 and a case of ammo. Felt really good  Looks like this:

Weiss, you are on roll lately! You have posted some killer metals in the past few weeks!
asheland, couple of great pieces you have there!
Nice Glock hch! If memory serves me, we can't buy Glocks in Mass unless you are in law enforcement. The Smith and Wesson plant is about 15 minutes from my house, so that's my gun of choice.

I never cared for Glocks. They're ugly and made from recycled Tupperware. ;)

We have a pickup due in tomorrow that I will add to our 2017s and post, we also got a chunky 20 oz old pour Engelhard with awesome sunray ripples that is more chunkier than the previous ones we've picked up, I wasn't expecting it to be chunky, I think I like having one a little different than the others but like yours the logo #s fonts all look the same.

OT but with Winchester, Remmington, S&W, Ruger, Marlin 30-30 , Ithica, 1896 30 40 Krag, Springfield, H&R, Romanian WASR 10, [even Mossberg] and others, and especially Walther............................I have never understood the hype associated with GLOCK.

Don't hate me it's just my life learned opinion.

A coin for the coin site:

PS: If I am wrong................... @ricko will let me know.

The logo, fonts, #'s look the same because they are consecutive bars. At this juncture the Engelhard molds were changed from a smaller cast to a larger cast. This unique pair is know as a "changeover" pair. When I saw this pair being offered I had to have it as this changeover pair will likely never be duplicated.

I hadn't caught the consecutive numbers. That would make them cool to own. I love older poured bars and they are by far my favorite. If you got them inexpensively, well done. I find the premiums (can you even call it a premium when it far exceeds the value of the metal itself?) prohibitive.

$2, maybe $3 over spot for bars like these I'd be a happy camper and feel like I had something really special. But when I see pieces like this sell for $15, even $20 per ounce over spot--premiums as much as or even higher than the value of the silver itself--It doesn't make any sense to me.

Glocks are a good firearm (I do not own one)... reliable and that is important. True, they do not have the lore or beauty of a Colt or Smith & Wesson.... However, there is much to be said of reliable functionality in a firearm. Cheers, RickO

Didn't make sense to me either. Then I tripped over this cool looking bar at a coin show a few years back and bought it. Paid like $5 over spot for. Fast forward 2 years, sold it $22 over spot on eBay. That got me looking & studying engelhard bars a bit. I didnt realize the following or collector base for these bars, especially in Canada and other countries nevermind the USA. Lots of great reading and history with engelhard silver bars and got hooked. allengelhard.com turned the page for me. Met some great folks along the way to.

@JohnnyCache....That H&K USP Compact is nice, I have always liked H&K firearms... Have a P30 9mm right now...had two VP70Z's and a P9S as well in the past. I like the polygonal rifling ... very accurate. Cheers, RickO

Ah, the 5 looked like a 6 to me until I zoomed in. Your bars are even more interesting than I assumed.
