Relation between a Spanish real and uknown coin

I found these coins at the same location in India, can anybody tell me the relation ship between the Spanish real and this unknown coin? Is this unknown coin from India?

    The Spanish real was the currency of the world in the 1600-1800's. At any point of trade you would have seen Spanish reales as common medium of exchange.

    Spanish-American "cob" coins were traded all over the world, as bullion. India was no exception. As an example, when the governor of New South Wales wished to acquire a large quantity of Spanish dollars to facilitate trade in the colony, his overlords sent 40,000 coins on a sloop... from Madras, rather than direct from Spanish America.

    As for the other coin, yes, it appears to be a Mughal-period silver rupee.
