Gem Morgan Toner Pedigreed to T. Cork

Here's another toner with PCI insert that says it originated from T. Cork. I have several really nice pieces like this, as well as others that have been reholdered (by others) after being acquired from Mr. Cork. Anyone else have slabs like this from Mr. Cork? Do you know anything about this fellow?

I don't have any of his toned dollars, but do know when he was starting out he got most of his nice toned dollars from Coin dealer John Gilreath.
I had a new years resolution to get back into posting, so this looks like a good place to start.
I recall him being a really nice, slightly eccentric dealer out of Tennessee. I would usually run into him at the Clearwater show and bought and sold a few nice pieces with him (this example included) around 2002-2006. He had a strange habit of cracking everything he purchased and getting it slabbed by PCI as T. Cork Toned Estate. There was no T. Cork Toned Estate per se, it was just his inventory that he would crack and generally get upgraded a point a PCI (probably now the legit market grade in 2017; also some of these slabs were accurately graded at the time to be fair).
I purchased this coin from FairTraderz on eBay probably in 2003 and later sold it to Tom in Clearwater. It was in a PCGS 65 holder at the time.
Interestingly enough, I also purchased an 85-o in one of the T Cork Holders from Tom that I got graded at PCGS that currently resides in your collection (I was browsing it the other day on that awesome hosting website with the questionable future...amazing collection btw!!!)
Other memorable T Cork experience. Purchased an absolute beast from him at one Clearwater show and ended up selling it to Bryan Sonnier at FUN the following week. I believe that one made his personal collection.
Found one more:-)
DruU. Good stuff. Please keep posting!

DrewU: Thanks for your stories about Tom C, and for showing those wonderful pictures of both my 1884-o and my 1885-o. AB, glad you like them.
@DrewU.... I think AuroraBorealis may be messaging you...
Wayne has a remarkable set of colorful Morgans and is always looking for new additions.... yours seem to meet his lofty standards. Cheers, RickO
You can usually find Tom Cork set up at the GNA and Blue Ridge shows, both held in Dalton, Ga.
Thanks, Shrub, that's good to know.
