As for salt, the lack of it is also not a good thing. You can get very, very ill and even risk brain damage.

True. But you need a blood test to determine if your sodium levels are ok. My wife stopped cooking with salt and I stopped adding it. If you look at processed food you eat, you will not have a problem keeping your sodium level up. Anyway, I didn't as I owe for many tests. I even take lasix 80mg., 2 times a day. :)

Oreville, you've been--and remain--a wonderful mentor and friend to many of us here. So good to see you back!

Glad you're doing well, Oreville. Keep it up.

I am in the same frame of mind....keeping what I have but buying little else.

Very few coins that I am looking for these days.

Still going to shows, a lot, and interacting with like-minded people and learning, too.

I usually make a small show purchase, when I go, but nothing crazy.

Age and experience will catch up to you sooner or later.

Sometimes, it’s better to be LUCKY than good. 🍀 🍺👍

It's good to see you progressing in the right direction. I wish I could lose some weight but it's so difficult to do.

Wow, 3 years later, still watching my diet and lost another 5 to 10 pounds. Feeling good and I have contolled diabetes with taking pills and ozempic. I peaked out at 95% of my former self but I think at age 66 1/2 this is as good as I will get.

I have definitely slowed down in my major coin purchases but have resisted selling any of my coin collection.

That might be more of a function of my age and attitude of " been there done that?"

    Detailed coin commentary posted elsewhere.

I think the salt and sweets is going to catch up to us all someday, one way or another. Keep up the good work!

Bought yet another brown plastic 1942 pattern cent from Heritage FUN Auction in January. PCGS SP-66 grade (highest PCGS grade - tied with the other one which I also own) and very nice. I was going to take it to CAC for hopeful stickering but the Corona-Virus-19 thing kind of stopped me from travelling to NJ to CAC.

Last couple of weeks I started buying some old junk silver coins. Having a blast buying a bunch of 1919 and 1920 merc dimes in Fair to Good Condition from a nice fellow PCGS poster. . Splitting the purchase with my wife's cousin.

A Collectors Universe poster since 1997!
