For sale is a very nice, very dirty and in my opinion under graded 1854-C $5. Those familiar with the date will know that issue is a much better date in the series and is actually very difficult with a strong mint mark which this example absolutely displays. The central striking is typically weak for the issue and this example is no different which is what led to the likely grade of EF45. The luster on this coin would not look out of place on an AU53 graded coin.
