1946 wheat penny with S above D not on top of.

I was recently going through my new additions to my collection for errors. I noticed that it looks like the D mint was stamped over an s mint. I was looking for opinions on the possibility.

Still kind of tough to make out, you would need a higher res photo for this. Unfortunately the coin is a little rough as well so it is hard to tell.

I think I see what you are referring to. Seems that the 'S' is rather larger than a normal mintmark, so makes it doubtful to me. However, does seem to be markings of some sort though; just not able to tell whether damage or a mint mark variety.
