Anyone ever seen a 1993 reeded penny?

My dad found this coin in his change. He has been a collector for as long as I remember and he came across this the other day. He asked a woman at a coin store the other day and she had never seen anything like it and offered to send it in to have it graded. I attached pictures to see if anyone out there has a thought on it.

I've never seen a reeded cent. My first thought is that it's PMD. For what reason, I don't know. People do all kinds of things to coins. Like machine pressed into some type of jewelry. JMO
My dad brought it to another coin place. It looks to be a dime that was pressed in to a penny. The guy believes it was probably done at the mint and it's not really worth more than about 20 bucks. I think he might be right. If you look at the bottom of the Lincoln Memorial you can see what looks like the leaves on the back of a dime. It weighs exactly what a dime does. It is silver in color, not copper coated. So it probably was a finished dime pressed in to a penny.
Yes, I see the leaves at the bottom of the Memorial. Is it the same exact size as a dime? Take another picture of it with a dime on top. Take the picture straight down (overhead) not at an angle. I'm not an expert however. bottom-line: it is very interesting. If you're not getting any decent answers here. Post it on these forums. The guys over there would love to see this! Plus, you will get answers.

It is exactly the same size as a penny, but thinner more like a dime. Exact weight of a dime of that year according to this guy who looked at it at a coin store. Here is another picture next to a dime and penny of the same year.
I can't tell from where I'm sitting. Wait for others to chime in or post it on the other sites.
Can I see a clearer picture of the reverse if possible?

It's a double denomination. A dime was struck, and instead of making its way out of the mint; it got mixed in with cent blanks and struck a second time. Its value is significantly worth more than $20. Quite more than $200 in fact. But a fair deal less than $2000. You might want to try posting it on the US Coins forum; more people read there.
