that was fun, I think.
bob:)
I don't like my results! I demand you send 1 through 7 back for re-grades!
Seriously, that was fun and well done. Thanks!
Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.
Most of mine graded a bit higher then I picked.
I guess I was just looking at them like I was buying them
Cool idea, thanks for the work you put into it.
Great contest... I saw it and said I would come back when I had a little time....and then forgot all about it. Cheers, RickO
Fun--impressive, Coinman!

Is there a link to the coins? I missed it, but wouldn't mind trying my hand at it post-fact.
Very fun looking game !
HAPPY COLLECTING
It's a page or two back on the forum.
Again, thanks for setting this up. There are some take aways in terms of how collectors see and grade coins. In addition, we are not just grading them for ourselves, but how we think a TPG would see them. I was a little surprised with two grades... Didn't see the 1917-D WLH as a VF20. Seems the spread on that one was as low as F12 and as high as VF25. There is a difference for the pre 1923 dates given the overall weakness in the design features and that may account for part of the spread. There did seem to be a level of wear present, especially on the Eagle's wings that influenced my view limiting my opinion to F12. The other was the 1917 SLQ-just did not see a 65 from the image. The 1934 Washington is an amazing coin- just flat out missed giving it the most worthy and deserving grade.
The 1895-s Barber quarter is amazing as is the 1917 WLH
Experience the World through Numismatics...it's more than you can imagine.
Very enjoyable, thank you for the interesting post and challenge.
I didn't post my opinions on the grades, but instead wrote them down on a sticky note by my desk. 3 Correct, 4 Close and 3 Wrong (I under-graded all three incorrect grades for #'s 1, 5 & 10)

55%? Wow, I suck! It was fun though.

Interesting on the five coins that I misseed 4 were undergraded and 1 overgraded. The coin that was giving me trouble was #8 the one cent with lots of luster on obverse and dull reverse looked like two different coins.
Grading coins in hand is a different ballgame. 55% isn't bad.
Are you going to do another round? This is fun.
Will try to be more punctual if another round is started....
Cheers, RickO
Maybe in a few months.
