    Yep some sort of token. Likely worth a $1 or less on ebay unless someone really wanted it (a coin store would probably not buy it at all).
    This would just be a neat item to hold on to.

    The 100th anniversary of Kennedy's birth is coming up in 2017.

    Check out William Rice's book The Kennedy World in Medallic Art: John F. Kennedy and His Family in Medals, Coins, Tokens, and Other Collectibles to see if this particular medal is listed.
