My latest @dcarr piece. I bought it as a Christmas gift to myself. I've been watching it for a month or two when the seller had it at $199 then dropped it to $128 so I nabbed it. Its a 2015 Moonlight Mint open house broadstruck Moragn overstrike with the "Daniel Carr for President" obverse and Moonlight Mint Open House reverse. I love the "Daniel Carr for President" obverse. Its like an artist's self portrait and this being on a Morgan sealed the deal for me, I just thought $199 was high but the $128 was priced right. This is my favorite die pairing of all the MMOH overstrikes too

My loss is your gain
Dan's work is the greatest and when my life hopefully rebounds then I will build my collection again.
The pieces from your personal collection are the hardest too let go and believe me $200 for that one of a kind piece was not out of line . You made out well

You were the seller? I was wondering if that was a possibility, the seller being a member here. Sorry to hear about your hard times. I'm not up to full steam as well. I thought the $200 price was a touch high but on the high side of retail. I kept watching it and hoping nobody would snatch it until I could afford it and with the 64d Morgans coming out all my extra cash was going to those. When I saw the price reduction I though I better get it or I would miss it. Pretty much tapped my PP acct after Xmas shopping but I'm glad to have it. Thank you. How did you get it if you don't mind me asking. Were you there when it was struck or get it 3rd party? PM me if you'd rather not say publicly
